Buske Estate Sale in NW Rochester, MN

I am conducting an Estate Sale for the Buske Family this Saturday (6/27) and Sunday (6/28) in northwest Rochester, MN in the John Adams Neighborhood. Don Buske enlisted in the Navy in 1951 serving on multiple ships during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1955 (an interview with Don describing his Navy service is available at the Korean War Legacy Foundation website).  Don returned to Rochester and worked for IBM for 35 years until his retirement in 1991.  Don met the love of his life, Kathryn Hovey, and they raised a family in Rochester. Donald enjoyed woodcarving, drawing, writing poems, singing in the Bethel Lutheran church choir, and making fun of his wife's Scandinavian heritage until his DNA test revealed that he too was part "Scandihoovian." Don passed away earlier this year at 91, and Kathryn is downsizing.  We need your help finding new homes for many treasures the Buskes collected through the years. This sale includes 2 vehicles -  a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan (FWD 114,000 miles) and a 1997 Ford Ranger Pickup (Regular Cab, 100,500 miles) - as well as a John Deere D110 Riding Mower (119 hours) and a FULL household.  I hope you'll be able to visit us at this sale in NW Rochester and find something fun for yourself or a friend.

             Sunday, June 28th, 10am-2pm

** Sunday is half-price day!! **  (Most items will be reduced to half price.)

We will be asking customers to remove shoes as you enter the home.  Please wear shoes easy to doff and don.

Parking in the culdesac is very limited.  Please consider parking along 18th Ave NW or by the middle school to allow pickup and parking for individuals with limited mobility.

We will hand out numbers about an hour before we open each day.  This system helps maintain (some) order when we initially open.  We will be limiting the number of people inside the house to prevent overcrowding.  We appreciate your patience.  We only honor the numbers we give out.  If you arrive at the sale before we do, please wait for us to hand out numbers.
